相信大家都有聽過這句話 或至少看過 Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind ㄅ

Ari 全新讓人哭透透的 mv 其實就是這部電影劇情的三分鐘精華版ㄛ

劇情就是在說兩個人相戀最後必須分手 選擇消除記憶來忘記彼此 最後還是忍不住愛上對方的故事

這張專輯會取做這個名字就包括了這個含義 Ari 表示說這張專輯名字雖然聽起來很正面

但歌曲真正代表的是他來到這個 eternal sunshine 的快樂境界前中間經歷過的傷痛

所以專輯可以是心痛但也可以是一種痊癒的過程 而詩的含義簡單來說就是在講

如果一個人能完全忘掉不愉快的記憶 就能獲得永遠的快樂

而同名曲就是利用了這句詩和電影關於記憶與感情的連結來做書寫

Ari 表示她必須去忘掉那個他曾經很愛的人 他們都有了新歡 與其繼續痛苦他寧願忘記他

但最終她發現無論她如何努力 這份曾經經歷過的幸福永遠都會是她生命裡那個抹不去的永世陽光

因此與其被困在過去或是消除記憶 她寧可帶著過去的傷痛繼續在未來前進著

因為這種感情哪是說忘就能忘 不如將其化成成長的養分繼續往未來邁進
